FULOKOJA alerts the public of a fake fraudulent Facebook account

The attention of the Management of Federal University Lokoja has been drawn to the existence of a fr@udulent Facebook account bearing the name “Gbenga Ibileye”, which falsely impersonates the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye.

The general public is hereby informed that this account is f@ke and is being operated by unscrupu|ous individuals with the intent to deceive, defr@ud, and explo!t unsuspecting persons.

For the avoidance of doubt, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye does not operate or authorize any such Facebook account for personal, official, or financial engagements. Consequently, members of the public, staff, students, and all stakeholders are strongly advised to:

i. Disregard and avoid any interaction with the said account;

ii. Refrain from responding to messages, friend requests, or financial solicitations originating from it;

iii. Decline any request for money, favours, or sensitive information linked to the fr@udulent profile.

Anyone who engages with or transacts through this f@ke account does so entirely at their own risk.

The University has commenced appropriate steps to report the account and bring the perpetrators to justice. Members of the public are encouraged to remain vigilant and report $uspicious online activities to the appropriate authorities.
