The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation has fulfilled its pledge by providing €3,100 in relocation support to Adisa Blessing Oluwafikayo, enabling the First-Class graduate of the University of Ilorin to take up her fully funded Master’s scholarship at the University of Calabria.

The Foundation announced that the financial support ensures Blessing can relocate to Italy to commence her postgraduate studies, bringing to reality an academic dream that had been threatened by financial constraints.

According to the Foundation, Blessing’s story captured the attention of many Nigerians after it became public that, despite securing a fully funded international scholarship, she lacked the resources needed to cover her relocation expenses.

The Foundation explained that its founder, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, believes that no young Nigerian should be denied a life-changing educational opportunity because of financial hardship.

The relocation support was formally presented to Blessing in the presence of her parents and siblings, who joined her in celebrating the significant milestone.

Reaffirming its commitment to advancing educational excellence, the ABS Foundation said it remains dedicated to supporting exceptional young Nigerians whose talent, determination, and academic achievements have positioned them for global opportunities.

The Foundation added that investing in hardworking and gifted individuals is vital to Nigeria’s future, expressing confidence that Blessing would excel in her studies and return with valuable knowledge, skills, and international experience that would contribute meaningfully to the country’s development.

Blessing’s journey has been widely celebrated as an inspiring example of resilience, academic excellence, and the transformative impact of timely support in helping young Nigerians realise their aspirations.
