Former Falcons sixth-round pick released by Buffalo Bills

· · 1 min read

The NFL’s 53-man roster deadline is less than 24 hours away and several teams, including the Atlanta Falcons, have already started making moves. Thus far, the Falcons have waived seven players, cut three others and placed one on the reserve/injured list.

Former Falcons defensive lineman Zion Logue also lost his job on Saturday afternoon. The Buffalo Bills released the former Georgia Bulldogs standout in their first wave of roster cuts.

The 25-year-old was selected by Atlanta in the sixth-round of the 2024 NFL Draft but failed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. After landing on the Falcons’ practice squad, Logue was poached by the Bills early in the 2024 season.

Logue appeared in five games for the Bills over the last two seasons. The 6-foot-6, 325-pound defensive tackle should land on a practice squad at the very least. Perhaps Atlanta will take another look at the former Bulldog.
