The Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep, Cross River State, has officially opened its application portal for qualified candidates seeking admission into various National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Certificate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Admission Eligibility Requirements
Candidates applying for full-time ND programmes must meet the following criteria:
Must possess five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects.
Must have scored 100 marks and above in the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The institution is accepting applications for the following courses:
Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes
HND Softwares and Web Development
HND Networking and Cloud Computing
National Diploma (ND) Programmes
ND Electrical Electronics Engineering
ND Library & Information Science
Computer Based Test Training (CBT)

All interested candidates who did not originally choose the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep as their institution of first choice in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply. Such candidates must visit a JAMB portal to execute a change of institution, making Federal Polytechnic Ugep their new First Choice Institute.
