These days, every album that Swift unleashes is all but guaranteed to find commercial success and fan-fueled fawning, but as with every musician, some albums are better than others.

Business Insider’s senior pop culture writer and resident Swift expert, Callie Ahlgrim, scored all 12 of Swift’s distinct albums, coupling each “Taylor’s Version” rerelease with its original.
