CB L'Jarius Sneed, Kansas City Chiefs have 2026 reunion

One of the Arizona Cardinals‘ 2026 opponents is having a reunion with a former player. The Kansas City Chiefs are signing cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Sneed played the last two seasons for the Tennessee Titans.

Sneed was drafted in the fourth round in 2020 and played four seasons for the Chiefs, starting 54 games and intercepting 10 passes. He was their No. 1 cornerback.

When he was due a big contract in 2024, the Chiefs used the franchise tag on him and then traded him to Tennessee.

He signed a four-year, $76.4 million contract and then played in only 12 games over the last two seasons before being released this offseason.

He returns to the Chiefs now. The Cardinals will face the Chiefs on the road in Week 11.
