Carnell Tate's development should be a focus in Titans training camp

When rookies reported to the Tennessee Titans training camp, wide receiver Carnell Tate started his journey to becoming the team’s top wideout in 2026. After a solid offseason of work, many are expecting the team’s first-round pick to assume that role early in his career.

Armed with size and ball skills, Tate has the look of a dynamic threat on the outside for Cam Ward, and his development will be a key to success in 2026. So much so, Turron Davenport of ESPN believes Tate and his development should be a significant focus during training camp.

He’s been as smooth as they come and catches everything with his hands. Tate spent time with Ward in Houston during the offseason to continue cultivating their chemistry.

Ward’s chemistry with Tate and free agent acquisition Wan’Dale Robinson will be significant factors in the success of the offense during the 2026 season.
