Nebraska offers one of the top offensive tackles in the class of 2028

Nebraska football offered 2028 offensive tackle Carson Adkins on Friday. He made the announcement on social media.

Adkins is a three-star tackle. He is the 330th overall player in the 2028 class, the 35th overall player at his position, and the ninth overall player in his class from the state of Ohio according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.

The tackle has an impressive and long offer sheet. Penn State,Kentucky, Tennessee, and Wisconsin are some of the bigger schools that have offered him. Michigan State and Indiana have hosted him on unofficial visits as well.

Adkins measures in at six-foot-six, 290 pounds. The program is making a push to identify and offer offensive line targets.

The Huskers have done a solid job with this in the past couple of classes, and now it looks like that trend is going to continue. This will be worth monitoring, as offensive line coach Geep Wade has wanted to rebuild the offensive line.

After a great conversation with coach @s_kwilli32 I am blessed to receive an offer from @Huskers!@AllenTrieu@SWiltfong_@Nebraska247pic.twitter.com/hvh2AWD2Yp
