The Denver Broncos are calling up two reinforcements from the practice squad ahead of a Thursday Night Football showdown with the Seattle Seahawks.
Denver elevated cornerback Sean Fresch and safety Taylor Rapp from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Week 6, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. Both players will revert back to the practice squad on Friday.
With cornerback Pat Surtain (ankle) and safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) both ruled out this week, Fresch and Rapp will provide more depth in the secondary.
NFL clubs can elevate up to two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers to return to the practice squad after the game. However, there is a limit of three elevations per player each season. Tonight marks Fresch’s second elevation and Rapp’s debut with Denver.

Thursday’s game (6:15 p.m. MT) will be locally televised on KMGH. Outside of Denver, the game will be available to stream on Prime. There’s also a free streaming option (for phones and tablets) on Twitch (full TV details). The Broncos are considered slight home underdogs this week.
