Appleton area high school sports results for Thursday, June 11

KIMBERLY – The Papermakers scored the game’s only goal in the second half and played solidly against the Lightning to pick up the win and advance to the sectional final June 13 against Wausau West at Loos Family Field in Stevens Point at 1 p.m.

Ashlyn Krueger scored the winning goal for Kimberly, whose record improved to 21-1 with the victory.

Bee Brockert had five saves in goal for Kimberly, which has allowed one goal in its last 10 games and five on the season.

Appleton North has its season end with a record of 19-3.

Wausau West advanced with a 2-0 victory over Hudson.

CEDARBURG – The Red Raiders are moving on to the sectional final following their win over the Bulldogs.

Pulaski will play Brookfield Central at Plymouth at 1 p.m. June 13 in the sectional final.

Leah Grygiel and Kara Barber scored goals for Pulaski. Estella Vieaux had an assist on Grygiel’s goal.

Red Raiders goalie Tatum Wentland made 18 saves.

Pulaski, which is 11-5-5 overall, is 6-0-3 in its last nine games and has outscored its opponents 15-5.

Hayden Rogahn scored the goal for Cedarburg in the loss.

Cedarburg ends its season with a record of 12-2-4.

GREEN BAY – The Tritons advance to the sectional final with the win over the Wolves.

Notre Dame is 6-1-1 in its last eight games and will host Kiel at Stock Family Stadium in Green Bay in the sectional final at 1 p.m. June 13.

Winneconne finishes with a record of 19-3.

KIEL – The Raiders advance to the sectional final with the win over the Spartans.

Taavi Saeger scored in the ninth minute for Kiel and added a second goal in the 32nd minute. Kiel goalie Mya Langenfeld made two saves.

Kiel (23-0-1) will face Notre Dame in the sectional final at 1 p.m. June 13. The teams played to a 2-2 tie on May 11.

Luxemburg-Casco finishes with a record of 15-6-2.

APPLETON – The Hawks improved to 20-1 with the shutout victory over the Knights in the sectional semifinal.

Khloe Standish scored the first goal for the Hawks and Braelee Kiepert knocked in the second goal.

Xavier will face Howards Grove in the sectional final June 13 at 1 p.m. on Rocky Bleier Field in Appleton. Howards Grove advanced with a 3-0 victory over NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy.

Lourdes Academy/Valley Christian ends its season with a record of 11-5-2.

SHEBOYGAN – The Tigers improved to 12-1-4 with the win over the Paladins.

Howards Grove will face Xavier in the sectional final at 1 p.m. June 13. It will be a rematch of the 2025 sectional final, won by Xavier 3-1.

Providence Academy/NEW Lutheran ends its season with a record of 13-3-1.
