The Milwaukee Brewers are two wins away from their first World Series championship.
Milwaukee’s comeback kids dug out of a 4-0 first-inning hole to beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-4, in Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday night, Oct. 24, at American Family Field.
Brewers fans and general baseball fanatics had lots to say on the Brewers’ return from what seemed like dire straits. Like Game 1, there was also plenty of “we’re really winning World Series games” reactions 44 years in the making.
From here, the Brewers head to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, for Game 3, Game 4 and, if necessary, Game 5.
Here’s what social media said during and after Game 2:
You cannot kill the Milwaukee Brewers. They are the villain in a horror movie; you sprint and they just keep walking with bullets in their face and arms chopped off.

The rays are 0-2 (.000) all time in the postseason when they score 4+ runs in the 1st inning
