The management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), Bauchi State, has announced the closure of the institution for the 2026 Eid El-Kabeer Sallah celebration.
According to an official circular issued by the Office of the Registrar on 22nd May, 2026, the Provost approved the closure of the College effective from Monday, 25th May to Sunday, 31st May, 2026.
The notice, signed on behalf of the Registrar, informed all staff, students, and the general public that academic and administrative activities will be suspended during the period of the Sallah break.
The management also directed all Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Programme Coordinators, Sectional and Unit Heads to ensure that all offices, classrooms, and facilities are properly secured before the break period.
However, staff on essential duties including Security personnel, Bursary staff, Borehole Operators, Gardeners, Animal Herders, and Clinic workers are exempted from the holiday break and are expected to continue their duties as usual.
The College Management appreciated the cooperation and support received from staff and students and wished everyone a peaceful and joyous Eid El-Kabeer celebration.
Normal work and academic activities are expected to resume on Monday, 1st June, 2026.
