PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Final preparations are being made for the FIFA sanctioned fan Zone coming to Providence for the World Cup.
The stage for the fan zone was brought in today on a crane. The 40ft screen coming to the fan zone is set to showcase every game of the big tournament.
Alongside showing games the new area is going to feature food trucks, soccer games, and other activities.
The fan zone opens at Station Park on Thursday at 1pm and will be running till July 19th.
