World Cup 2026: Zanetti predicts Brazil vs Norway game

Vice President of Inter Milan and Argentinian legend, Javier Zanetti, has predicted a difficult game when Brazil face Norway in the World Cup Round of 16 clash later tonight.

Zanetti, who also expressed his desire to see Neymar play the match, insisted that Norway is a very well-organized team with a top striker, Erling Haaland.

Brazil and Norway qualified for the World Cup Round of 16 after beating Japan and the Ivory Coast, respectively, in the Round of 32.

Speaking ahead of Brazil’s clash with Norway, Zanetti said (via All Football): “This will be a difficult match because Norway is a very well-organized team and they have a top striker like Haaland upfront.

“I believe the Brazilian team must play this game with a high level of focus. However, in a competition of this level, a team’s heritage and history can also be decisive factors, and Brazil precisely possesses these,” he said.

He added, “Neymar is an extraordinary player. I think anyone who truly loves football would want to see Neymar on the field.”
