World Cup 2026: Jack Wilshere picks winners, runners-up, golden boot winner

Former Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, has picked the winners, runners-up and golden boot winner for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup will start next week across Mexico, Canada and the United States.

However, providing his predictions as shared by The Sun football on X, Wilshere backed ‘England’ to win the World Cup.

He also tipped ‘France’ to finish as runners-up, and England captain ‘Harry Kane’ to win the Golden Boot.

Recall that England will face Croatia, Ghana and Panama in Group L of the World Cup.

The Three Lions manager, Thomas Tuchel, has already released his 26-man squad for the tournament.

The likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Maguire, Phil Foden and Cole Palmer were among the big names left out of the team.
