The World Bank GovTech AI Bootcamp Program 2026 is now open for government institutions in low- and middle-income countries working on artificial intelligence solutions for public administration.
The fully funded program is organized by the World Bank in collaboration with the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) and the National Information Society Agency (NIA).
Selected participants will take part in a five-day technical bootcamp in Seoul, South Korea, from December 7–11, 2026. The program will provide practical learning, expert guidance, site visits, and opportunities to learn from Korea’s experience in implementing AI solutions in the public sector.

Eligibility
The program is open to government institutions in low- and middle-income countries developing, piloting, or implementing AI solutions in areas such as public finance, civil service, citizen services, procurement, transparency, anti-corruption, and civic engagement.
Each institution must nominate a two-person team, consisting of:
- A policy leader with decision-making authority
- A technical practitioner involved in implementing the AI initiative
