Will Seahawks gain from trading Olu Oluwatimi prior to 2026 season?

How valuable is Olu Oluwatimi for the Seattle Seahawks in the trade market?

According to Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton, Oluwatimi is a player that the Seahawks not only stand to gain from trading away before the 2026 NFL season commences, but also have the potential to deal to a fitting suitor in the Baltimore Ravens

“The Baltimore Ravens, who lost three-time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum to the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency, may offer an early Day 3 pick for Oluwatimi,” Moton said. “Head coach Mike Macdonald’s ties to Baltimore could help facilitate a deal.”

Oluwatimi only started in four of the eight games that he played for the Seahawks last season in favor of Jalen Sundell, Seattle’s new starting center. Oluwatimi was given a player grade of 55.9 by Pro Football Focus for his play last season, which ranked No. 35 overall at the position. He left something to be desired as a pass-blocker, with a 44.1 grade in that department.

The Maryland native is approaching the final year of his four-year deal with the Seahawks in 2026, making him all the more advantageous to trade prior to the start of next season. A fourth or fifth-round pick from the Ravens will add to Seattle’s draft pot and give the franchise the opportunity to select a quality player in the later rounds of the draft in the coming years.
