Veteran defensive back Chamarri Conner was listed on the Kansas City Chiefs‘ injury report heading into the team’s home opener against the Denver Broncos on ‘Monday Night Football’ in Week 1.

Here is the latest update on Conner’s status:
Conner is dealing with a knee injury that kept him from participating in any of Kansas City’s practice sessions in Week 1. He has officially been ruled out for the Chiefs’ matchup against Denver on ‘Monday Night Football.’
While it remains unclear how long it might take Conner to recover from his knee injury, Kansas City’s front office would have placed him on the team’s injured reserve list if he was expected to be out for more than four games.
With Conner out of the picture in Week 1, safeties Jaden Hicks and Xavier Nwankpa are expected to get more playing time in Steve Spagnuolo’s defense.
