The Chicago Bears will face the Minnesota Vikings in their home opener at Soldier Field on Sunday, where first place in the NFC North is on the line.
The Bears and Vikings will announce their inactives 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday, or roughly 10:30 a.m. CT. This post will update as more information on player availability is known and official gameday inactives for Week 2 are announced.
The Bears have zero players with injury designations ahead of the game, where right tackle Darnell Wright, running backs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, cornerback Malik Muhammad, defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo, safety Xavier Woods and Ozzy Trapilo have all been cleared for Sunday’s game.

While Darnell Wright was a surprise addition to the injury report on Wednesday with a knee injury, the right tackle is officially good to go against the Vikings. Wright said his knee injury popped up in Carolina, but it only sidelined him for Wednesday’s practice. Said Wright: “Everybody has bumps and bruises around here, so if it’s good to go, if I think I’m going to be a detriment to the team, obviously I don’t just want to try to be a hard ass and play, but if I feel like I can, I always feel like I can help the team, obviously, playing, but if it’s something that’s going to just be a liability, there’s no reason.” Wright was a full participant in Friday’s practice, and he has no injury designation, which means he’ll be good to go.
This will probably be the best the injury report will look all season for the Bears, who have no players with injury designations for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. That means right tackle Darnell Wright, running backs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, cornerback Malik Muhammad, safety Xavier Woods, defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo and left tackle Ozzy Trapilo are all cleared and ready to go for game time.
