Vanderbilt football has added two more names to its list of players with season-ending injuries ahead of a trip to Mississippi State.
Josiah Broxton suffered a torn ACL and Evan Hampton, who was injured against Kentucky, has a fractured leg, according to Clark Lea.
Both of those players were listed as out on the SEC’s availability report ahead of the game Nov. 7 (3:15 p.m. CT, SEC Network) at Davis-Wade Stadium in Starkville.
Jaylin Lackey and Jamison Curtis were both listed as probable after dealing with long-term injuries. Lackey hasn’t played this season and Curtis played only in the opener.
Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor is out for the season, and the likelihood is that Vanderbilt will see AJ Swann as the Bulldog’s signal-caller, as he was not listed on the report after suffering an injury last week.
