Who is Brewers’ Super Fan Front Row Amy? Everything You Need To Know

The Milwaukee Brewers are getting more and more national television screen time because of their incredible success thus far in the post-season.  After taking down the San Diego Padres, the Brewers just closed out a 7-4 win over the Dodgers to take 2-0 lead in the NLCS.  A position that Milwaukee hasn’t found themselves in, in a long time.

However, the team’s popularity is causing more fans to question who Front Row Amy is, as they see her behind home plate every home game.  Here is everything you need to know.

Who Is Brewers Super Fan Front Row Amy?

She’s often dressed for the occasion, follows every pitch closely and rarely seems to miss a moment of the action. She’s known as Front Row Amy, and she’s become one of the most recognizable fans in Milwaukee sports.

But there’s a lot more to Amy Williams than her seat at American Family Field.

Williams is a longtime Brewers season-ticket holder from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who built her reputation by doing something most fans could only dream of: spending a significant portion of baseball season watching her favorite team from one of the best seats in the stadium.

Her story is a little different from what many baseball fans might expect. She wasn’t a lifelong baseball fanatic, and her rise to fame didn’t begin with a social media following or an attempt to become an internet celebrity. It started with a Brewers team that caught her attention in 2007 and a trip to the ballpark that turned into a lasting passion.

How Front Row Amy Became a Brewers Fan

Believe it or not, Williams wasn’t always a devoted Brewers fan.

According to a 2026 profile published by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Williams grew up in a family that eventually settled in Oshkosh after moving from the Chicago area. Baseball wasn’t a major part of her life growing up, even during the Brewers’ run to the World Series in 1982.

That changed in 2007.

While recovering from surgery, Williams began watching the Brewers on television. The team was putting together an exciting season, with players such as Prince Fielder, J.J. Hardy and Corey Hart helping generate plenty of offense.

She quickly became hooked.

Williams soon attended her first game at what was then known as Miller Park with her husband. He helped her fill out her first scorecard, introducing her to a tradition that would eventually become one of her trademarks.

The atmosphere at the ballpark made an impression, too. The crowd, the sounds of the game and the feeling of being part of something bigger helped turn a casual interest into a genuine love for the team.

She started attending more games, and by 2008, she had purchased season tickets.

Where Does Front Row Amy Sit at Brewers Games?

Williams’ nickname comes from her famous seat directly behind home plate at American Family Field.

Her longtime spot is Section 117, Row 1, Seat 5. She previously sat in the fourth row of the same section during the 2009 and 2010 seasons before moving to the front row in 2011.

The location gives her a clear view of the strike zone, the catcher’s movements and nearly everything happening around home plate. It’s also one of the most visible spots in the ballpark, meaning television cameras regularly capture her during broadcasts.

Williams typically attends dozens of home games each season, making the roughly 90-minute drive from Oshkosh to Milwaukee and back after the final out.

In an October 2026 profile, she said she had attended 35 Brewers home games that season and planned to be at every home game during the postseason. She also explained that she watches games on television or listens on the radio when she can’t attend in person.

For Williams, the experience isn’t about simply getting a good seat and watching a game. She wants to be there for the entire thing.

Why Front Row Amy Keeps a Scorebook During Every Game

One of the details that separates Williams from many other recognizable fans is her dedication to keeping score.

She doesn’t just sit behind home plate and watch the action. She tracks the game in a score book, recording what happens pitch by pitch.

Williams uses a specialized scoring system that lets her keep track of additional details, including individual pitches and foul balls. She also writes down notes about memorable moments and funny things she hears during games.

Her love of score-keeping also helps explain why she prefers sitting in her usual spot. She can concentrate on the action without having to worry about people blocking her view, and she enjoys following the finer details of the game.

Williams has said that pitching is her favorite part of baseball to watch. For her, the experience involves much more than waiting for a home run or checking the scoreboard.

Front Row Amy’s Life Away From Baseball

Although Williams is widely recognized for her Brewers fandom, baseball is only one part of her life.

She lives in Oshkosh with her husband, Russ, and they have three children. She has also worked as an accountant for the family’s property management business.

A 2026 profile noted that she has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Away from the ballpark, she spends time caring for her pets and handling her work and family responsibilities.

Williams has also explained that attending games alone is something she genuinely enjoys. It gives her time to focus on baseball and take a break from the demands of everyday life.

That detail offers a different perspective on her reputation. For some people, attending a game alone might seem unusual, especially when sitting in such a prominent location. For Williams, it’s part of what makes the experience special.
