Week 8 Open Thread
With no UW game this weekend, you can stay on this thread for the full weekend. Here are some of the top games to watch in each game window.
Friday Evening – There are two ACC games tonight. First, Duke heads to Virginia in a fairly even matchup between teams trying to get a step closer to bowl eligibility. Later, Stanford hosts NC State in a special Friday night after dark game.
Saturday Early – The early window doesn’t have any games between ranked teams, but there are some good ones nonetheless. Indiana travels to Michigan in an attempt to rebound from their loss to Ohio State. New Miami will try to remain undefeated against a solid Pitt team. Cal travels to SMU, Rutgers visits Northwestern, and LSU heads to Auburn.
Saturday Midday- BYU will try to follow up their big win over Notre Dame as they head to Orlando to play UCF. Oregon heads to Illinois, Alabama hosts Texas A&M, and Iowa and Minnesota battle over the Floyd of Rosedale. Also keep an eye on Michigan St heading to undefeated UCLA.
Saturday Evening- We finally get a game between ranked teams with Ole Miss at Texas. Utah hosting Houston is the other ranked vs ranked game. The rest of the window is not quite as must-see. Wisconsin might be able to give USC a challenge in Madison, and Virginia Tech looks to continue a promising start at Clemson.
