Om Saturday, Notre Dame will play host to the Stanford Cardinal inside Notre Dame Stadium in one of the most annoying ACC games on the schedule… but at least this is in Indiana.
As ridiculous as the whole Stanford and Cal thing is when it comes to being ACC members, this is one of the rare times that I’m glad the Irish play Stanford — so they don’t have to partake in another weekend of insane October ACC weather games.
Look, this weekend is going to be magnificent in South Bend. There always seems to be that one perfect Saturday for the weather in a Notre Dame home game, and this Saturday is making a strong case that thio is the ONE. Per tradition, I pick one game a year to take all five members of my family to, and this is the one — so I’m looking as good as the weather right now.
The morning tailgating is going to be perfection. My youngest son actually has a football game that morning, so agian… it’s pretty perfect.
As far as the game weather is concerned, it’s going to be more of the same. The golden domes are going to shine brightly all afternoon.
