🏈 Stephen A. Smith went off on Steelers general manager Omar Khan.
“Omar Khan, don’t think that you getting off the hook. I’m trying to figure out as a general manager for the Pittsburgh Steelers, what the hell has this man done?” Smith said on ESPN’s First Take. “They got the third-oldest roster in the National Football League. You remember Omar Khan was raved because he had traded that brother Chase Claypool years ago to Chicago. He got a second-round pick for it. He used it on who? Joey Porter Jr. And now he gone.”
🏈 Joey Porter Sr. and Joey Porter Jr. took a photo with George Pickens after the Dallas Cowboys’ 34-30 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
“Who we got this week? The team with one eye. Lets Go!” Porter Sr. captioned the post.
The Cowboys play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night.
🏈 Hall of Fame NFL wide receiver Cris Carter claims the Steelers’ business model is broken.
Cris Carter says the Pittsburgh Steelers’ business model is broken they refuse to pay the players they draft. Shipping George Pickens and Joey Porter Jr to the Dallas Cowboys isn’t getting them a Super Bowl anytime soon. pic.twitter.com/nFRQDBUB0q

🏈 Former Steelers linebacker Vince Williams called out Steelers defensive tackle Keeanu Benton.
“I’m looking at Keeanu Benton immediately. You need to make more impact on the game. What is going on? You’ve gotta make more plays,” Williams said on the Steelers Blitz on Steelers Nation Radio. “You’ve gotta step up. Keeanu, you’re supposed to be the person that they just paid and supposed to be stepping up. You’ve gotta make more plays. I don’t feel like Keeanu Benton is carrying his weight. He’s not justifying his contract. He’s the third-best defensive tackle we have right now. Let’s say Harmon is playing the best. Cam Heyward just had eight tackles this game. What are you gonna do to affect the game in a major way?”
🏈 Steelers defensvie coordinator Patrick Graham opened up on T.J. Watt yelling at him on the headset during the Cleveland Browns game on Thursday night.
“It’s football. I’m OK with that. Put the camera on me, trust me, I say a lot of stuff. It all goes to this â the beautiful thing is we get to build on and learn from last week. I’m looking forward to the challenge,” Graham said on Monday.
Graham likes seeing emotion from his players.
“We’re getting to know these guys in the heat of the battle. I think I said at one of my early press conferences, I wanted to see what would happen when adversity hit,” he said. “And just to see how we’re gonna react and see how we’re gonna react to it as a group, respond to it is a better word as a group. It’s bound to happen. People always talk about it being an emotional game. We’re emotional people. So to me, I encourage the emotions in terms of, I want their full selves out there when they’re playing, you know? I think this has been a great learning experience, I really do. I’m not trying to sugarcoat it. I’m not trying to make a bigger deal or a lesser deal of what it is.”
🏈 Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey was tuned in for Joey Porter Jr.’s debut with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
“Tapped in brother @joeyporterjr,” Ramsey wrote in an Instagram story post.
