Memphis Grizzlies rookie forward Cameron Boozer has arrived in the NBA preseason. The first-year player from the Duke Blue Devils basketball program announced his presence in Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks with a sweet fadeaway jumper from the left side for his first career bucket in the preseason.
Interestingly enough, Boozer drained the shot over another former Duke star Jalen Johnson, who watched the ball go in as the Grizzlies trimmed the Hawks’ early lead from six to four.

The Grizzlies are counting on Boozer to eventually become a major factor in helping the franchise turn things around after missing the NBA Playoffs in the 2025-26 season.
