WATCH: Alvin Kamara scores Saints TD after Chris Olave’s 44-yard gain

Tyler Shough and Chris Olave helped set the table; Alvin Kamara finished the job. The New Orleans Saints running back reached the end zone against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, capping a possession that featured a 44-yard gain from Olave. Some of New Orleans’ biggest offensive names delivered on the same drive against their NFC South foe.

Olave’s explosive play gave the Saints a chance to turn a big gain into points, and Kamara made sure the opportunity didn’t go to waste, scoring with 14:57 remaining in the second quarter. After the Saints fell behind by 14 points, getting on the board early in the second quarter put life back in the home crowd.

The touchdown was Kamara’s first on the ground since Week 1 in the 2025 season, ending a massive drought for a player who once scored 16 rushing touchdowns in a single year. One score won’t answer every question about the Saints’ running game, especially after Kendre Miller gave away the football in the first quarter, but getting Kamara back into the end zone is an encouraging start.
