Vote for the SouthCoast Girls Athlete of the Week for Oct. 19-25

The winner of last week’s Girls Athlete of the Week poll was Dartmouth’s Amanye Burgess. She had 41% of the vote to receive the honor.  

In a win over Case, Burgess had 27 digs. 

Previous winners were Dartmouth’s Rebecca Watson, Ella Camara and Hailey Moreira, GNB Voc-Tech’s Olivia Araujo and Old Colony’s Jocelyn Doherty. 

The winner of the Early Season Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year poll was GNB Voc-Tech’s Abigail McKeon with 65% of the vote. The winner of the Preseason Girls Volleyball Player of the Year was Apponequet’s Chloe Desrosiers with more than 3,000 votes (70%). The winner of the Preseason Girls Soccer Player of the Year poll was Dartmouth’s Ella Camara with more than 9,000 votes (42%). The winner of the Preseason Field Hockey Player of the Year poll was Old Rochester’s Addison Roy with more than 1,000 votes (50%).
