Vote for Clarion Ledger Mississippi boys high school athlete of the week Sept. 7-12

There were several top performers across the state in boys high school sports, but only one can be voted as the Clarion Ledger athlete of the week for Sept. 7-12.

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Luke Essary, Jackson Prep: Essary recorded 343 passing yards and five touchdowns in Jackson Prep’s 42-12 win against Tri-County Academy.

TJ Mitchell, Richland: Mitchell had 269 rushing yards on 17 carries for four touchdowns in Richland’s 50-0 win against McLaurin.

Kam O’Neal, Leflore County: O’Neal had 244 rushing yards with four touchdowns in Leflore County’s 50-20 win against South Delta.

Storm Robinson, North Pontotoc: Robinson recorded 285 passing yards and four touchdowns in North Pontotoc’s 42-0 win against Alcorn Central.

Cam Sherrod, Vancleave: Sherrod produced 102 rushing yards with four touchdowns and a receiving score in Vancleave’s 34-28 win against Forrest County Agricultural.
