More help is on the way for Dallas’ defense.
The Cowboys announced on Thursday that they’ve opened the 21-day practice window for defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard as he returns from injured reserve.
Bullard has been sidelined by a calf injury. He was placed on IR on Sept. 30.
In his 11th season, Bullard was on the field for 31 percent of the defensive snaps in Dallas’ first three games. He recorded three total tackles, two quarterback hits, and a half-sack.
Bullard has appeared in 134 career games with 59 starts, recording 250 total tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 23 QB hits, and 7.0 sacks.
The Cowboys will host the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
