The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Seyi Makinde, has blamed Nigeria’s development challenges on a lack of ideas among its leaders, despite the country’s vast natural and human resources.
Makinde made the remarks on Wednesday in Abuja during the unveiling of his manifesto for the 2027 general elections.
The Oyo State Governor said the document outlines his proposed solutions to the country’s economic, political, social and institutional challenges.
He explained that the manifesto was drawn up after extensive consultations with Nigerians across the six geopolitical zones, including town hall meetings where participants shared their expectations for the country.
