UNIPORT Post UTME Form 2026/2027 for Admission

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has opened its Post UTME screening registration for the 2026/2027 undergraduate admission exercise.

Candidates who chose UNIPORT as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and scored at least 160 can apply for the screening.

UNIPORT Post UTME Registration Date

Online registration starts on Friday, 15 May 2026.

The registration portal will close at midnight on Friday, 29 May 2026; candidates who miss the window will not take part in the screening exercise.

Who Can Apply

The form is for candidates who selected the University of Port Harcourt as first choice in the 2026 UTME.

Candidates who first chose UNIPORT as second choice can apply only after changing the university to first choice.

UNIPORT Post UTME Screening Fee

Candidates can pay online with an ATM card after generating a Remita code, or they can print the payment slip and pay at any bank that supports Remita.

How to Register for UNIPORT Post UTME

Candidates should complete the registration through the UNIPORT screening portal.

  1. Visit the portal and follow the registration guide.
  2. Enter the UTME Registration Number.
  3. Confirm the pre-loaded UTME details.
  4. Generate a Remita code for online payment or print the payment slip.
  5. Pay ₦2,000 through Remita.
  6. Collect a Remita receipt showing an access code, if payment is made at the bank.
  7. Return to the portal and log in with the UTME Registration Number and access code.
  8. Confirm payment.
  9. Complete the online form.
  10. Click the submit button and print the registration slip.

Candidates should keep the printed slip for the screening exercise.

Screening Schedule

UNIPORT has not yet announced the full screening timetable.

Candidates should keep checking the University of Port Harcourt website for the screening schedule and related notices.

Rules Candidates Must Follow

Candidates must be 16 years old or above by 30 September 2026.

Related Post

Mobile phones, iPad, iPod, Walkman, similar gadgets, and other outside materials will not be allowed into the screening venue or its surroundings.

Registration is online, so candidates do not need to visit the university campus to complete the form.

They should register from any location with their own valid GSM number and email address.

JAMB CAPS Notice

Candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB website through CAPS as soon as possible.

UNIPORT stated that candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.

Screening Day Notice

Once UNIPORT fixes the screening dates, candidates must report to their assigned venues as scheduled.

Candidates who fail to appear as scheduled risk disqualification; parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the campus on screening days.
