UFC 334: Ciryl Gane vs. Josh Hokit odds, what to know for title clash

After Tom Aspinall vacated, the Ciryl Gane era of the UFC heavyweight division will begin at UFC 334 when the now-undisputed champion puts his belt on the line against controversial undefeated challenger Josh Hokit.

Gane (14-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC) become the second two-time interim champion in UFC history at UFC Freedom 250 in June when he stopped Alex Pereira with a second-round TKO. He was promoted to undisputed after Aspinall vacated due to his ongoing eye injuries, which stemmed from fouls by Gane their controversial UFC 321 no contest in October.

Hokit (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC), for his part, will look to put gold around his waist just over one year after making his promotional debut. He’s had an ultra-quick rise to the top, aided by the combination of an outlandish personality and dangerous fighting skills.

According to DraftKings, Gane is a slight -225 favorite to retain his title against Hokit, who’s a +185 underdog.
