U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos step up preparation with another friendly

Nigeria’s Flamingos will face Future Stars ’99 Soccer Academy in a friendly at the Remo Stars Sports Complex on Saturday.

It will be the Flamingos’ third friendly since they set up camp in Ikenne for their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final round qualifying tie  against the Young Amazons of Benin Republic.

DAILY POST recalls that they defeated Dream Star Ladies 3-0 in the first friendly.

Akeem Busari’s side thrashed Royaltoms Queens 11-0 in their second test game on Tuesday.

The Flamingos will host Benin Republic in the first leg of the qualifiers in Ikenne on  Saturday, 4 July.

The second leg will hold in Lome one week later.
