FC Twente have opened talks to sign Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper Jeffrey De Lange (28), according to a report from L’Équipe.
De Lange arrived at Marseille from Go Ahead Eagles back in the summer of 2024, however, behind Argentina international Geronimo Rulli in the pecking order, he has struggled for game time. In his two full seasons at the Vélodrome, he has made just 10 appearances in all competitions.
Last season, the Dutchman was a target for Lille OSC but he remained at OM. This summer, however, he could leave. A return to his former club, FC Twente, is on the cards, L’Équipe understands. The former Netherlands youth international made three appearances for the Eredivisie side between 2018 and 2022, prior to his move to Go Ahead Eagles.
Twente have even made contact with Marseille regarding a transfer for De Lange, whose contract with Les Phocéens expires at the end of next season.
