Tuesday's Connecticut high school sports roundup: Oxford girls swimming beats Woodland

Sophia Montalvo won the 200 freestyle (2:08.15) and the 500 freestyle (5:36.67) to lead Oxford girls swimming to a 93-92 victory over Woodland on Tuesday afternoon.

Woodland’s Abby Miko won the 200 individual medley (2:18.49), 100 butterfly (1:06.13) and was a member of the winning 200 medley (2:05.46) and 400 freestyle (4:07.69) relays.

In boys soccer action,Sam Adams and Christian Demento each scored a goal to give Plainfield a 2-1 win against Tourtellotte.

Tristian Andrade made nine saves for Plainfield.
