Manchester United have handed Marcus Rashford the no14 shirt ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
Rashford spent last campaign on loan at Barcelona.
However, the LaLiga giants have failed to take up the option to sign the England forward on a permanent basis.
With no club looking to take him for the new season, United have decided to give Rashford a shirt number.
Rashford wore the no10 shirt before he left Old Trafford, however that number is now being worn by Matheus Cunha.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United decide to give Marcus Rashford new squad number as message to trust him and include as part of the team.
“Understand Rashford will wear number 14 shirt and now travelling with the team.
“Unless top European club bid arrives, he can stay.”
