Transfer: Laporta speaks on Raphinha leaving Barcelona after Gordon, Adeyemi’s arrivals

Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, has ruled out any possibility of Raphinha leaving the club this summer transfer window.

Laporte insisted that the arrivals of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi to Barcelona don’t mean Raphinha is leaving the LaLiga champions this summer.

Barcelona recently signed Gordon from Premier League side Newcastle United this summer.

The Blaugrana is all set to announce the signing of Adeyemi from Dortmund after reaching an agreement with the Bundesliga side for the player’s transfer.

Speaking about the development, Laporta said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “We do not want Raphinha to leave. He’s a key player for us.

“The arrivals of Gordon and Adeyemi are not linked to Raphinha, it doesn’t mean Rapha is leaving.”
