Turkish football pundit, Levent Tüzemen, has revealed Galatasaray has given Victor Osimhen assurances regarding the club’s improved strength for the upcoming season, amidst ongoing speculation about the striker’s future.
This assurance becomes important as Osimhen is being linked with numerous elite European clubs following another remarkable season.
Clubs such as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, and Arsenal have all shown interest in the former African Footballer of the Year, who had a breakout season, contributing to 30 goals in 33 appearances.
Osimhen’s future is a significant topic of discussion in the summer transfer window, with Galatasaray eager to bolster their position in retaining the prolific forward.
During an appearance on the Libero TV YouTube channel, Tüzemen disclosed that the management of Galatasaray has made a definitive commitment to the Nigerian international to assure him of the club’s ambitions.
“Victor Osimhen received a promise from the Galatasaray management that, ‘We will be a better team next season,'” Tüzemen was quoted as saying by habersarikirmizi.com.
Osimhen is contracted with Galatasaray for an additional three years after his permanent transfer to the club last summer for a record fee of €75 million in the Turkish Süper Lig.
