Besiktas have approached Arsenal in an attempt to sign another of their player, Gabriel Jesus, having already landed Leandro Trossard earlier this summer.
The Turkish Super Lig side signed Trossard in a deal worth an initial £15.3million.
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas have approached Arsenal over a deal to sign Jesus, who is available for transfer this summer.
Arsenal want £20m for the Brazilian striker, who has fallen down the pecking order behind Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres in manager Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Jesus has just a year left on his contract with the Gunners, and the Premier League champions are only interested in a permanent exit rather than a loan deal for the former Manchester City player.
Besiktas will have to battle Napoli who are also interested in signing the 29-year-old.
