Juventus manager, Luciano Spaletti, has claimed that Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez wants to leave Aston Villa.
Martinez has been linked with a move to Juventus this summer transfer window.
“Dibu Martinez? He is a goalkeeper who wants to change clubs, and we are looking for competitiveness.
“But we currently have two goalkeepers,” Spalletti was quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport as saying.
It’s yet to be seen if Martinez will end up leaving Aston Villa after Unai Emery’s side have lost Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers to Manchester United and Chelsea, respectively.
Martinez helped Argentina to reach the final of the 2026 World Cup, which they lost to champions Spain.
