Tranmere have signed left-back Jacob Slater on a two-year deal.
The 21-year-old will join Rovers as a free agent on 1 July when his contract with Brighton expires.
He joined the Premier League side from Preston in August 2023 but never made a senior appearance for the Seagulls and spent last season on loan with Harrogate Town.
“He wants to work and compete, and those are the types of characters we want in the building,” Tranmere boss Darrell Clarke told the club website.
