Toronto FC have transferred homegrown forward Deandre Kerr to Portuguese second-division side AVS Futebol SAD and retain a sell-on percentage, the club announced Friday.
The 23-year-old former Canadian youth international has played his entire professional career in Toronto after graduating from the club’s academy.
He has recorded 21g/3a in 114 appearances across all competitions for Toronto since debuting in 2022.
Internationally, Kerr represented Canada at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
“We would like to thank Deandre for his contributions over the past few years, as well as thank the Kerr family for their efforts and commitment to TFC from his Academy days through our first team,” said general manager Jason Hernandez.
“We wish Deandre all the best in the next chapter of his career.”
