Jarell Quansah is emerging as one of the most sought-after defenders ahead of the 2027 summer transfer window, with Florian Plettenberg reporting that several major clubs are already monitoring his situation at Bayer Leverkusen.
Apparently, there is already “movement behind the scenes” regarding the England international’s future. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all said to be interested in the centre-back, while Real Madrid are reportedly scouting him on a regular basis.
Liverpool may hold a significant advantage in any future race for Quansah’s signature. The Reds are understood to have inserted a €70 million buy-back clause when the defender left for Leverkusen, giving them a potential route to bring him back to Anfield.
Quansah’s stock has risen considerably over the past year. Strong performances in Germany, combined with his versatility and growing role in the England setup under Thomas Tuchel, have attracted attention from across Europe.
If the 23-year-old continues his development and enjoys another impressive season with Leverkusen, his value could exceed €70 million by next summer, but Liverpool could still choose to complete the transfer for that amount.
