Before Saturday’s game, Johnson could not offer a firm timetable for the return of veteran forward Tobias Harris, who has been sidelined since the start of the preseason with a left calf strain.
The Spurs gave the 34-year-old Harris a two-year, $31-million deal as the club’s lone free-agent signing of the summer. Johnson hinted Harris’ Spurs debut could be drawing near.
“He’s progressing on the court and it’s going well,” Johnson said. “We’re excited to have him back very soon.”
