Detroit — The Tigers added some bullpen depth on Wednesday.
They acquired 32-year-old right-hander Jacob Waguespack from the Milwaukee Brewers for cash considerations. He is expected to report to Triple-A Toledo.
Waguespack, who hasn’t pitched in the big leagues since 2024, had a 1.66 ERA with 33 strikeouts and 15 walks at Triple-A Nashville this season.
He had brief stints with the Blue Jays and Rays, posting a 5.11 ERA and 1.543 WHIP in 31 games.
