Three players return to Barcelona

Three players have returned to Barcelona after their post-World Cup break to start getting ready for the new season.

They are Joan Garcia, Eric Garcia and Anthony Gordon.

The trio were part of the Spain and England squads that participated at the World Cup in the summer.

However, the three were all back training at the weekend for the first time after the break, doing individual sessions alongside Gavi.

They all did combine gym work with ball work out on the grass, while the rest of the squad have a rest day after the triangular tournament in Udine, Italy.

The rest of the squad will be back in for training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday for another week of sessions.

Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick has scheduled double sessions for Wednesday and Thursday with a view to the upcoming friendly in Basel.
