When it comes to discipline, John Beaton has dished out 48 yellow cards, 23 to players in green and white, and 25 to players in blue and remarkably hasn’t shown any player on either side a red card.

Celtic have been awarded three spot kicks compared to two that the Ibrox side have been given under Beaton.

A good omen for Celtic is that the Rangers haven’t won a Glasgow Derby under the whistler since October 2020.
