Texas A&M football is ending its nonconference slate, for now, with a bit of a bang.
The Aggies will play host Saturday to the Arizona State Sun Devils. Led by coach Kenny Dillingham, ASU was a College Football Playoff team the season before last and has a winning record in Dillingham’s last two seasons. The Sun Devils demolished Morgan State 70-7 last week.
A&M was dominant in its 50-0 win over Missouri State of Conference USA, but Saturday presents a bit stiffer challenge. Then the Aggies move on to SEC play for four games before The Citadel visits Kyle Stadium next month ahead of the stretch run.
But for now, Mike Elko, Marcel Reed and the gang are focused on a home win against a Big 12 foe.
