Suni Lee has emphasized that she and OG Anunoby are just friends.
That hasn’t stopped New York Knicks fans, and fans of the United States gymnast, from linking the pair frequently. Lee has spent a lot of time courtside at Madison Square Garden, and although she wasn’t there for Wednesday night’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals, she was certainly watching.
Anunoby has gone viral in the past for playing his best games with Lee in attendance. Apparently, the universe only needed to know Lee was watching to allow Anunoby to be the hero.
And after the Knicks pulled off the greatest comeback in the history of the Finals, Lee chimed in on social media:

That’s about the only word needed to describe it.
The Knicks trailed by as many as 29 points, and the deficit was still 15 entering the fourth quarter. Somehow, they won, not even needing overtime.
Anunoby made maybe the two biggest plays of the game.
First, in transition, he blocked the heck out of De’Aaron Fox to deny the Spurs a scoring chance.
Then, when Jalen Brunson missed a deep 3-pointer, Anunoby crashed the glass and put it back in for the lead.
Those two plays, along with so many other clutch ones from all over the court before that, put the Knicks up 3-1 in the series. They’re a win away from winning an NBA title for the first time in more than a half-century.
The Knicks will return to San Antonio for Game 5, but they won their twice already, so that won’t intimidate them.
Nothing can stop Anunoby at the moment, either. No matter what his relationship with Lee is, it’s clear that the two elite athletes are supportive of one another.
Soon, Lee might be able to celebrate Anunoby and the Knicks winning a championship.
