Suni Lee shut down the blue carpet at the 2026 U.S. Open.

The three-time Olympic gold medalist caused a stir at U.S. Open, where she made a statement in an all-white outfit. She wore a short-sleeved white dress that she accessorized with a colorful scarf that she wore as a necktie. The gymnast added a small white bag and pointed white heels to complete the look.

As for glam, she kept a neutral tone with rosy pink blush and lip gloss. She parted her hair to the side and added Hollywood waves to finish the style.

Last night’s match made history with the showdown between Ben Shelton and reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz. The match lasted until 3:33 a.m. this morning, with Shelton defeating Alcaraz in a 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (10-7) victory.

“I’m tired. It was a war,” Shelton said after the match. “Carlos is one of the greatest champions of our sport. It was the most enjoyable match I’ve had in my career, for sure.”

Shelton will move on to the semi-final to face Frances Tiafoe on Sept. 11.

Suni Lee on what’s next

When Lee is not leaving her mark on red carpets, the Olympian is in the gym training. In July, the official U.S. women’s national gymnastics team welcomed her back following her commitment to return to the sport to potentially compete in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

She will also be coming out with a documentary to show fans her journey as she navigated health-related issues in years past that took a toll on her gymnastics career. Lee was diagnosed with two rare, incurable kidney diseases in 2023.

“This is more than a documentary; it’s an invitation to come along for the journey,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in July. “I know there’s more in me, and this is my chance to challenge myself, test my limits, and see what I’m truly capable of.

The six-time Olympic medalist added: “This isn’t about proving anyone wrong. It’s about showing up for myself and discovering what’s possible. Through the setbacks and the victories, I’m giving myself one more chance to find out what happens when I keep going.”
